Bob has been in the construction industry since 1977, including 14 years that he had his own construction company doing both commercial and residential projects. Bob joined Hilger Construction in 1999 as a working superintendent. Bob's proven strengths include his consistent ability to produce a quality project within schedule and budget, while working very closely with owners who always give him high marks. Bob's primary roles are to oversee the field work, confirm the project schedule is adhered to, provide technical support to the clients, and communicate with the office and project architects / engineers.
In the role of site superintendent, Bob has been involved in several USPS projects from overseeing jobsite foremen to his current position as site project manager. These USPS projects include: Aberdeen Impact Doors, Chehalis Water Infiltration Abatement and Repair, Raymond Handicap Ramp, and South Bend Sidewalk Replacement. Bob's Joint Base Lewis McChord projects include: Madigan Army Medical Center - Bldg 9905, Bldg 9786, Bldg 9921, Bldg 9933, Bldg 9930A, New East Gate Guard Shack, FY10 Miscellaneous Projects, and our most current work in progress, emergency room repair.
